We're In Arizona
Damn it took forever to get here. Although, we are in Arizona, we are still two hours away from the "action." I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I think we're prepared. We difinately want to talk to the people who have come to confront the Minutemen and stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters who are forced to cross the border, risking death, every day.
This thing by the "Minutemen" about protecting the border has been tried before. They also had a bunch of people sign up and volunter to "protect" the border, but in the end only about a dozen ever showed up. This time, however, it seems like they are really emboldened and have been getting so much news coverage. And a few days ago, the White House announced that they will be adding another 500 more border patrol agents...
Well, looks like we gotta go, but check back soon!

I am glad you are there. HOpe you have a cell phone. Send photos,,,we are with you in the struggle for justice and revolution.
Well, i hope no post is good news. I really want to commend the collective for taking on this responsibility. It takes a lot of work to carry our banner and our battle to the front lines.
I'm so glad you're there! It's very dangerous that these vigilantes have recieved a fair amount of legitimacy from the media and government. It would be really bad if they were seen as part of a "new normalcy" the people of Arizona are supposed to idly accept. I'm unfamiliar with where this is happening, though - is it near some of the specific border towns that have been known to resist this sort of thing and help immigrants? I dunno if you brought it, or how long you'll be in AZ, but the DVD of the Chairman would be amazing to leave with people you meet.
